I think this might actually be my biggest automotive related annoyance. Light turns green...3 cars get through....light turns yellow then red super fast.

I have watched people creep almost into the intersection and then act like they can't see that the light changed.

Here's an idea. Stop behind the white line and FUCKING STAY THERE UNTIL THE LIGHT CHANGES ASSHOLES! I want to walk over to their cars and smack them it bugs me so much.

And then there are the other idiots who leave multiple car length gaps between them and the car in front. WHY!? What can that space possibly be used for?

Almost all NYC cabbies do this. It's not so much the delay at green that bothers me, it's that they physically can't let the car just sit still for a f*cking second. Just stop. Please. Or I'll end you.

I was sort of one of those people on my motorcycle yesterday. I didn't creep, but I pulled up in the empty right hand lane and got all set to moderately launch ahead of traffic to change into the middle lane and just as the light changed an suv from the cross street turned the corner into my lane.

So my brain misfired and I let the clutch out for the launch while giving it throttle for a car slow take off since there was a slow moving block in the road ahead. Killed it at the light. {facepalm}

At least i hadn't been revving the engine so it didn't seem like I had been trying to take off quick.

the worst ones are the ones that keep creeping until their in the middle of the intersection, then dont go when it turns green cuz they cant see the damned light anymore.
